Andrew sighed as he scrolled through his phone, ignoring the text from his long time girlfriend about starting dinner. Slouched down, it wasn’t just his body that was deflated. Andrew's entire life for the last 6 months had just felt stagnant and boring. Work was a dead end with no more room for progression, just sitting at a desk and writing emails to fucking Janine. His friends were all busy with their families, getting married or going travelling, while he was stuck with a relationship he was too comfortable in to actually leave. All he did for fun was binge watch shows and drink beer, Andrew was just stuck in a mindless loop of boredom and mediocrity. Andrew was about to finish his hour long scroll session when an email notification popped up, clicking it he didn’t recognise the organisation that sent it. He couldn’t remember even seeing it or signing up to something called FlipsideFans, it was probably just spam but the title of the email had gotten his attention. It read ‘Expand and grow your horizons. Be the best you!’ Andrew smiled either it was coincidence or serendipity but either way Andrew opened the email not seeing the wisp of green smoke encircle his feet.
Andrew was not expecting much from the spam email but the more he read the more intrigued he became in FlipsideFans.

Andrew was confused as there was no link to a website and no more information about the company, it just asked you to say that you wanted to be a part of the family. Andrew was hesitant as his lips opened to speak but then he soon became dismissive and felt ridiculous. Andrew was just about to put away his phone when a wisp of green smoke rushed past his nostrils and for a moment he felt more relaxed, more open and for a split second his inhibitions faded which was just enough time for his body to say out loud ‘I wish to be part of the Flipside family’.
